New Standard for Electrical Events from ECA
The Electrical Contractors Association (ECA) recently announced the launch of an electrical event which is to take place in June this year at the ICC Birmingham.
The event will combine a gala awards dinner with a conference, exhibition and technical workshop.
Designed to celebrate electrical excellence, the event will provide a wealth of information for electrical contractors. And the combination of conference with exhibition, workshop and awards dinner is certain to create an interesting scenario for those attending.
The event is being sponsored by manufacturers, wholesalers and industry bodies and will also host the announcement of the new ECA president for 2013-14 and the ECA annual conference.
Celebrity stars to attend the event include TV presenter Ben Fogle who will be speaking at the close of the ECA conference. Also, leading industry people will be giving presentations on building, home automation, intuitive buildings, smart technologies and technical workshops will be taking place alongside the large trade exhibition.
The most interesting thing about this particular electrical event is that it will conclude with the very first ECA Gala Awards Dinner. The dinner is to be hosted by comedian Marcus Brigstocke and the awards will recognise the achievements of ECA members over the last year.
The CEO of ECA, Steve Bratt, said that the event is nothing like anything that has been done previously and should set a new standard for electrical events.
The event takes place on the 20th – 22nd of June this year. For further information, visit the dedicated electrical event website.
