The demand for solar energy has rapidly increased with the government scheme and sees homeowners clambering for panels to be fitted.

A recent BBC report states that solar panel installation has increased as a record number of UK homes realise the benefit of solar energy.

2,257 UK homes had solar panels fitted in August, a massive increase from the 1,700 the previous month.

This continuing increase is due to the government scheme of rewarding those who generate their own energy allowing homeowners to receive 41.3p for every unit of energy they generate.

This, in turn, has increased the demand for fully trained solar panel installers to cope with this increase.

Solar training courses are finding that this increased demand is filling up their courses as more people realise that solar installation is a viable career option that is set to grow.
