MCA Accredited Courses
The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) endeavours to prevent the loss of lives at sea and is responsible for implementing British and International law and safety policy. As part of the executive agency’s policy making process, the MCA have put in place a range of training courses to aid their pursuit of increased safety for all seafarers, regardless of their position or duties.
High Voltage Management is an important aspect of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency training portfolio. The MCA select training providers to assist in the delivery of their accredited courses and value the expertise and facilities high voltage training providers can offer. PASS Training and Development are delighted to have now gained accreditation to deliver the Management Level High Voltage Course.
These courses have been developed in order to address the significant changes to the STCW (Standards of Training, Certification and Watch-keeping for seafarers) Convention and Code. Aligning with the Knowledge, Understanding and Proficiencies (KUP) tables in both AIII/1 and AIII/2, the management and operational courses delivered at PASS Training and Development will certify seafarers have the correct training in order to work safely with high voltage power systems.
Our courses are delivered in our purpose built training facility which is fully equipped with both land based and marine power systems, to guarantee our candidates gain a valuable and tailored training experience. Discover more information about our high voltage training facility.
