Entry Requirements |
Evidence is required to demonstrate that candidates to have previously undertaken a full HV Switching Authorisation course. Anyone attending training should also have a good level of both spoken and written English. |

- Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
- Operational Procedures
- Practical exercises (1 switching/ safety documents/ Switching Programmes).

Course Suitability
Course Aim
To refresh the understanding of HV power systems including statutory regulations and safe operation. Also to refresh candidates with the performance of HV switching operations, in accordance with their companies’ safety rules/regulations.
Who Is The Course Designed For?
Electrical and Mechanical Personnel who have previously undertaken a full HV Switching Authorisation course, who require refresher training with switching and issuance of safety documents (e.g. High Voltage electrical permits to work). N.B. Candidates wishing to undertake this course must provide evidence that they have previously undertaken Full HV Switching Authorisation training.
What Assessments Are There?
Assessments for this course are via written, verbal and practical examinations.
